OK...I'm airing out the laundry in the closet here once again.  Moving back up north to where I grew up has had its share of drawbacks, and also had its share of success as well.  I thought I would share some of the styles I've found online from such stores as Sexy Shoes, BeverlyHeels, Dressed2Play, and SlinkFashions.  All of these stores I HIGHLY recommend not only for their selection, but for their awesome service!  I do wish there were stores here that catered to these brands, but if you ever saw this town, you'd see why they don't have any such places - although I think I would have a fair chance of drumming up business for them since I love telling ladies about the fabulous styles that are out there.  Ready?  Here we go again!

Vanity-451

This parade starts off with some intestingly-styled open-oxford style pumps I picked up from BeverlyHeels.com.  They're 4" stiletto pumps with a little closure in the front that ties much like an oxford.  Unfortunately, with my apple turnovers, they don't close together quite as nicely as shown by the nameless model to the left, but they are very comfy nonetheless.  No worrying about slipping out of these beauties!

I always like something just a little off the beaten path, and these definitely fill the bill!

Jante Mary Jane

In the last round, I showed you some nice babydoll pumps (which I still have), and so when I was shopping on eBay, this nice store called Leigh's Garage Sale had some really cool mary-jane pumps with a twist......a slight platform under the sole!  I really liked this style, and had them ship me a pair right away.  Now, my pair is actually RED instead of BLACK, but I love them all the same.  They are EXTREMELY comfortable, and no one should have any problems walking in them - not even the most balance challenged gentleman will have any difficulty managing these shoes.

Flair-2010 boots

THESE.....are the ultimate in comfortable, yet very stylish boots!  If you don't have a pair of these in YOUR closet, you really need to get them.......NOW!

This style is called "Flair-2010", and the best place I've found these at is at SlinkFashions!  For some reason, these guys beat everyone as far as price and service go, and I adore them for it!  I had some difficulty with the first pair I ordered (through my OWN clumsiness), but the second pair, once broken in properly, proved to be the new favourite in my closet!  They're nice, soft, and have just enough platform to be able to walk in them with absolutely no problem whatsoever.  Now, please keep in mind, that you may have to order one size higher than you normally do in order to not run your toes into the front, but once you have the proper size, you will enjoy them immensely!

pink glitter platforms - yay!

There's no place like home.........there's no place like.....oh wait.....she had RED shoes on didn't she?  And silver in the original book?

Ah well.....these are still nice and sparkly-pretty!  These are made by Demonia/Pleaser and I got them from........oh heck, where DID I get these gems from?  ANYWAY, what's important is they are gorgeous!  I mean, granted, you probably won't wear these with just any outfit (unless you ARE looking to draw attention - but I wouldn't know anything about THAT, would I?), but I think with the right look, anyone can pull these off (and put them on) with no problem.  I have this pair, and then another in flat black.  It's odd that these would feel a bit stiff, but I think it's from the glitter.  I have no problem wearing these, and neither will you!

Seduce-2020 boots

This was a deal way too good to pass up.  I first saw these on the BeverlyHeels.com site for about $40, and I thought "Leather + my size = match made in heaven"!

They must have made a mistake or something, because not long after, the price for the leather ones almost doubled, while the patent ones stayed at the same price.  This style, regardless of the material (but I still recommend leather), is way comfy, although I'll never understand why Pleaser would put SPEED HOOKS on the front, and a ZIPPER on the side! Unless you do something clever, like either bend down the hooks so they make a loop, or use some pliers to pull the laces through the hole BEHIND the hook, you're pretty much committed to lacing them up every single time you put them on.

I still love them a lot though!

Sexy Shoes #908 boot

Guys, pay attention here!  This style, to me, is totally UNISEX!  I truly believe guys AND gals can wear this style equally well!

This find is from Sexy Shoes, and although they run a tad expensive, trust me......you WILL love them.  Now ladies.....if your significant other wears the same size you do, be prepared to have them borrowed at least on occasion.  These are 3 1/2" block heels, and have adjustable laces up the front (NO SPEED HOOKS), plus a zipper up the side.  The manufacturer is called JK Fashions, but I haven't seen any site exclusively about them yet.  Also, they're nice and generous, and even provide a pair of replacement heel pads in case you wear the first ones out.  Not sure where you'd turn to if the 2nd pair wore out though.  These boots are high-quality, and really make a statement!

Revenge-2000 boots

I know........you're thinking "You GOTTA be kidding me, SQ!  Would someone wear these????"

Well.........yes, yes I would!  While I haven't totally mastered these uber-cool bitch boots, you can be sure someday I will!

These were from the Dressed2play.com site, and are very reasonably priced.  They have a 6 inch stiletto heel and 2 inch platform.  The shaft material does stretch, so it will accomodate some wider calves, and as time goes on, will be easier and easier to wear.  I like the fact that the platform is pointy as well, not rounded like so many other styles.  I've seen these in other colours as well, but I think basic black works the best for me.

I hope you enjoyed this second parade of footwear, although this time, I don't wear heels to work (it didn't seem to pan out too well last time), but I have worn some of these out in other places around here with no problems.  Believe it or not, there are some people - even up here, who can appreciate some classy stylings.
