SQ's closet part 3

Here we are in round 3 of the digging in the closet, and this time, I'm being a bit more practical in my choices.  I mean seriously....what good does it do to buy some shoes if you're never ever going o wear them, right?  These are finds I found on eBay, Payless Shoes website, and Avenue.com.  I'm liking some of the more moderate styles now - the ones that don't scream CFM, k?  Most of these styles are now part of my everyday-wear collection, which has gained quite a few compliments from my colleagues and friends.  Guess I must be doing something right!

This wonderful style was originally sold by Avenue, but I found them on eBay.  They're a brand called "Cloudwalkers", and they feature padding on the inside for a cushioned walk.  These are nice, SOLID heels!  I love the rounded toes and the stacked-look on the heel.  Just a nice, all-around shoe for wearing anytime.  I usually take a size 14, but I got these in a 13W and they fit perfectly.

These....I highly recommend!

This is another style that was sold at Avenue, and now it's back, although the name of it has changed.  If you like discreet heels, then these will not disappoint.  As before, these are Cloudwalkers, and have a 3" wedge heel on the back.  Unless you look closely, you can't tell they are heels!

These are some classy shoes, and I found them in, of all places - PAYLESS!  Yes, Payless does make some pretty kick-butt shoes if you know where to look (for me, it's usually online only since I take a 13W).  Again, nice solid 3" chunky heel, and I love the buckle across the toes.  They are SO cute!

There are some styles that just automatically go into my "must wear all the time" stack, and these certainly qualify!  Again, from Payless, this is the "Twist Bootine", which has a 3 1/2" heel and is grey faux suede with a rounded toe.  In fact, I am wearing them at the time this article is being written!  They go great with jeans, so if you want a low-cost alternative that still looks hot, then you should pick some of these up!

I've seen this style off and on again on eBay, so the last time I saw them, I swore if I ever saw them again, they WOULD be mine.  Well, lo and behold, they did show up again, and I did snag them. The brand is Moda Spana, and they are just way too unique to pass up.  They're almost like a mule, but they have this nice wide elastic strap that goes around the back of your ankle.  They have a 4" heel on them, and just look cool!

These are styles I've worn out and about time and time again, and nary a bad word or glare said to me!  I've gotten past that point where I care about what people think about what I'm wearing.  I wear so little that comes from the male side of the store anyway, so it just makes sense.  It's what I like - what else is there to say?
